EarLens – The World’s Only Nonsurgical Lens to Gently Vibrate the Eardrum

What is EarLens?

Earlens uses a tiny lens placed directly on your eardrum. The ear tip transmits high fidelity audio signals directly to the lens, gently vibrating your eardrum to help generate a clear, wonderful sound. Whether it’s speech, music or other sounds, you’ll love it.

What are the benefits of EarLens?

  • 2.5 times the frequency response which will result in a much clearer, natural sound.
  • Custom Fit for your individual hearing loss and needs.
  • Stream directly to your iPhone.
  • No whistling or feedback.
  • Rechargeable so no need for batteries.

Traditional hearing aids are often likened to mini-speakers amplifying sound into the ear so you can hear and understand speech better. For some people, simply “turning up” the sound in the ear won’t work because they have conductive hearing loss or other issues that interfere with the way the ear hears. EarLens can skip past the ear canal and use the eardrum to transmit sounds directly to the inner ear.

How Does EarLens Work?

EarLens captures the sound in an external component that looks like a regular hearing aid and transmits it to the eardrum through a surgically placed component. The sound vibrations then travel down the bone to the inner ear through conduction. At that point, the cochlea works the way it would on a normal healthy ear–it converts the vibrations into electrical impulses your brain registers as sounds.

Who might benefit from EarLens?
