 Abigail Sweeney, Au.D.

Director of Audiology

Dr. Abigail Sweeney is a native of Louisville. She attended Eastern Kentucky University where she majored in Communication Disorders graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Sweeney obtained her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Louisville, School of Medicine in 2009. She is a Past Vice President of the Kentucky Academy of Audiology.

    Dr. Sweeney is the director and managing partner of Louisville Family Audiology. Prior to starting the practice in January 2016, she worked for a hearing aid manufacturer as an account manager. While working for the hearing aid manufacturer, she trained audiologists how to fit premier hearing technology and would also work with patients during the fitting process. Prior to working for the hearing aid manufacturer, Dr. Sweeney worked clinically treating hearing loss and vestibular disorders.

    Providing excellent patient care and offering state of the art hearing technology is a commitment Dr. Sweeney has to her patients. Her focus is on best practice and educating her patients on the importance of the ear-brain connection. Because hearing loss has been identfied as the #1 modifiable risk factor for cognitive decline (Livingston G, Huntley J, Sommerlad A.     Dr. Sweeney splits her time seeing patients between the St. Matthew’s and Crestwood locations of Louisville Family Audiology and focuses her time on both patient care and practice development.



    Dr. Sweeney is a proud wife and mother to three sons. She loves photography, crafting and taking care of her family.


 Laureen Reimer, Au.D.

Clinical Audiologist

Dr. Reimer has been practicing Audiology in Louisville since 2007. She attended the University of Louisville for her undergraduate and graduate work. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Doctor of Audiology degree. She is certified by the American Board of Audiology in tinnitus (ringing in the ears) management.

Aynsley Holzen, Au.D.

Clinical Audiologist

Dr. Aynsley Holzen is native to Danville, Kentucky and has been an audiologist since 2010. She attended Eastern Kentucky University where she majored in Communication Disorders and graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Holzen obtained her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Louisville, School of Medicine in 2010 where she was a recipient of the Graduate Dean Citation.

    Her primary specialty is adult hearing assessment and hearing aid selection, fitting, and programming with an extensive knowledge of Lyric extended wear hearing devices.

    Dr. Holzen has had a hearing loss since she was a child and has been wearing hearing aids since she was 18 years old. As an audiologist with hearing loss, Dr. Holzen loves sharing her hearing journey and can empathize with patients with hearing loss and support them on a more personal level. It is her mission to help those who have a hearing loss to experience a life that is limitless.



    Dr. Holzen resides in Goshen, Kentucky with her husband and three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, and running.


Katie Martin, Au.D.

Clinical Audiologist

Dr. Katie Martin was born and raised just outside of Indianapolis, IN. There, she attended Butler University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders.

    After receiving her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Louisville, she decided to remain in Kentucky to practice.

    While Dr. Martin has experience in many facets of Audiology, she is most passionate about helping patients connect with loved ones by hearing the best that they can. She truly enjoys building relationships with her patients and walking them through their hearing journey every step of the way. Aside from helping patients, living an active lifestyle is Dr. Martin’s other passion. You can often find her exploring the city with her husband and two kids or taking in a concert, using appropriate hearing protection of course.

Olivia Wright, B.S.

Practice Manager

Olivia is a native of Springfield, KY; she relocated to Louisville in March 2019. Olivia is a graduate of Campbellsville University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Healthcare Management.

    Olivia started with Louisville Family Audiology in March 2019. Compassionate in nature, Olivia enjoys interacting with patients and making them feel comfortable. She has experience working in a medical office and is a great multi tasker. She has become knowledgeable very quickly about trouble shooting hearing aids and loves greeting patients at the window with her friendly smile.

    In her spare time, Olivia loves traveling, cooking, decorating and spending time with family and friends.


Rachel Campbell, B.A.

Audiology Assistant & Patient Care Coordinator

Rachel is a native to Indianapolis, but grew up in Oldham County. She attended Western Kentucky University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.

    Rachel started with Louisville Family Audiology in June 2021. She enjoys interacting with patients and helping them on their journey to better hearing. Having previously worked in an animal hospital Rachel is able to multitask and handle a busy schedule well.

    Rachel currently resides in the Highlands where she spends her spare time in the company of friends and family. As a huge animal lover, Rachel especially enjoys doting on her two pet rabbits.

Susan Daum

Patient Care Coorindator

Susan is native to Wilmington, NC; she relocated to Louisville in May 2020. Susan is currently a full-time student with hopes to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy. Susan started with Louisville Family Audiology in April 2022.

    Susan currently resides in Oldham County with her husband and son. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants, and road-tripping.

Susan Greenrose, a native of Cumberland, Kentucky, joined the Louisville Family Audiology team in the fall of 2022 as a part-time Patient Care Coordinator. Susan is a proud mother to two children and a 'GiGi' to two grandchildren, cherishing her family time and her role as a community leader in her church.
